DUNCOMBE PARK (in Helmsley). Probably one of the finest restored houses in North Yorkshire surrounded by a unique 18th century landscaped green garden.

NUNNINGTON HALL. Sheltered in a lovely walled garden on a quiet river bank is this delightful 17th century Manor House

CASTLE HOWARD. Spectacular historic house designed by Vanborough in 1699. Film location for ‘Brideshead Revisited’.

RYEDALE FOLK MUSEUM. One of Yorkshires leading open air museums.

HELMSLEY WALLED GARDEN. Wander around this lovely local walled garden.
